Development & Deployment Process

Phase Description
Define Expectations, Performance Standards & Desired Outcomes One of the best compliments that we frequently hear from our training attendees is, “How do you understand so much about our business?” We take pride in knowing your business and reflecting that knowledge in our experiential design and facilitation. It is important for us to understand your current culture and the results that you desire to achieve. We take the time to help you define expectations and required competencies.
Assess Needs DVR Learning will help you assess needs in terms impact on the organization, performance and learning. We start by aligning skill sets to the required competencies for each position. Assessment provides a means of prioritizing both group and individual performance development needs. This also provides a benchmark for measurement and evaluation.
Define Content and Instructional Design We believe that all training should engage the learner to make discoveries, ask questions, practice and apply what they learn in practical and realistic situations. We use an experiential design model based on sound adult learning principles to ensure that learning takes place. Great facilitation is enhanced even more by great design.
Define Measures At this stage we evaluate how training and performance will be measured. There are four levels that we consider; reaction, learning, transfer and impact. We will define each and provide a comprehensive evaluation strategy for your program.
Delivery To ensure that performance change occurs, we highly recommend that learning is introduced in small increments with time between sessions for learners to apply skills on the job and receive coaching. All DVR/Impact Sales instructional designers and facilitators are working practitioners bringing practical experience to your training session. All are certified or hold degrees in adult education and instructional design. Whether you employ our trainers or use our materials to facilitate your own sessions, our design process ensures that facilitators demonstrate their unique styles while maintaining the integrity of the program.
Coaching Performance is best integrated and sustained when behaviors are coached. We provide the tools that you need to support and coach your program both short and long-term. Evaluation & Measurement At this stage we implement the measures defined in your evaluation strategy. Optional certification programs are also available based on defined performance measures.
Continuing Education and Reinforcement Our coaching guides provide insights for identifying and supporting behaviors individually and in group meetings. In addition, we provide resources to support desired behaviors to ensure the sustainability of your program.
